Our Community Outreach program supports families and communities across the Philippines by promoting child protection, awareness, and positive development for children and youth. We believe that lasting protection begins within the home and extends throughout the community, which is why we work closely with parents, community leaders, and local organizations to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to guide and care for the next generation.

Through child protection trainings, values formation activities, and community events, we help strengthen the foundations of programs that support children and youth. From cities to remote islands where access to resources and information can be limited, our goal remains the same: to help build communities where every child is valued, protected, and given the opportunity to grow and thrive.

From May 29 to June 4, the Redeeming Zoe team journeyed deep into the mountains of T’boli, South Cotabato, carrying hope, love, and truth.

With fewer than 30 volunteers, we packed our training materials, supplies, and hearts ready to serve. Together, we traveled to remote communities where the journey is long and the roads are difficult, places that are often overlooked simply because they are hard to reach. But we believe every community is worth reaching.

In just a few days, we trained more than 930 individuals across 8 barangays, bringing vital child protection training to communities where access to such information is limited. Every step along the way, every conversation shared, and every smile exchanged reminded us why this work matters. Children are worth protecting. Families are worth strengthening. Communities are worth investing in.

This mission was more than a successful trip. It was the planting of seeds of hope for the next generation of children in T’boli. We believe these seeds will grow into lasting change for many years to come.

Children participated in our “I Can Be Strong, Safe, and Smart” training, where they learned to protect themselves from harm and to understand their worth. Through engaging workshops, songs, and creative arts and crafts, they discovered practical ways to stay safe while building confidence and a deeper sense of value and belonging.

Parents also received training on children’s rights and practical ways to protect them from all forms of abuse. It was an eye-opening and empowering experience that helped them better understand their role in creating safe, supportive, and nurturing environments where their children can grow and thrive.

Local church leaders were also encouraged as our team spent time connecting with pastors and offering support in their work serving their communities. Through shared moments of encouragement, prayer, and simple gifts such as rice packs, we reminded them that, as they continue to care for others, they, too, are seen, valued, and supported.
