General 1 — Redeeming Zoe

Last May 29 to June 4, our Redeeming Zoe team journeyed to the mountains of T'boli, South Cotabato—carrying hope, love, and truth.

With fewer than 30 volunteers, we packed materials, prayers, and passion, and set out to reach even the most remote areas—places others often pass by because the journey is too hard. But no place is too far when God sends you.

In just a few days, we trained over 930 individuals across 8 barangays, bringing essential child protection training to communities that do not have easy access to this information. Every step taken, every hug exchanged, and every word spoken was a powerful reminder: children are worth reaching, families are worth fighting for, and Jesus is always worth sharing.

This mission was more than a success—it was a seed of hope planted for the next generation of children in T’Boli. We’re praying these seeds grow into lasting change.

Children took part in our “I Can Be Strong, Safe, and Smart” training, where they learned how to protect themselves from harm and recognize their worth. Through engaging workshops, praise songs, and creative arts and crafts, they discovered not only practical ways to stay safe, but also how deeply loved and valued they are by God.

Parents received training on children's rights and practical ways to protect them from all forms of abuse. It was an eye-opening and empowering time that helped them better understand their role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for their children.

The Church was strengthened as we had the privilege of ministering to local pastors, encouraging them to press on in their calling to share God’s love within their communities. With heartfelt prayers and simple gifts of rice packs, we reminded them that as they faithfully pour into others, they too are seen, valued, and worthy of care.
